This policy explains what we do with information you give us through this website. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.

What we collect
If you complete a form on this site, we collect only what you type into it:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Anything you write in the message field
We do not ask for financial details, identity documents or payment information through this website, and you should not send them to us through it.
We also receive standard technical information that any website receives, such as your approximate location, browser type and the pages you viewed. This comes from our web server logs and from Google's advertising tag.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, to quote for work, and to contact you about the service you asked about. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked a question.
Who processes it
- Web3Forms handles form submissions and delivers them to our inbox. Your form data passes through their service.
- Google provides the advertising tag on this site, which measures whether an advertisement led to an enquiry. Google may set cookies for that purpose.
- Cloudflare and our hosting provider process traffic to keep the site available and secure.
Our own staff see your enquiry. We do not pass it to any other third party without your instruction.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained while we deal with them and for as long as we may need them for our own records. Where you become a client, your information is kept under the retention rules that apply to our professional and regulatory obligations, which generally require records to be held for several years.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing tax@calx-ae.com. Where we are required by law or by our regulator to keep a record, we will tell you that rather than delete it quietly.
You can stop hearing from us at any time by replying and saying so.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. The Google advertising tag may set cookies to measure advertising performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send us confidential client information through the website forms. Email or a call is better, and we can arrange a secure channel where needed.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date at the top. Material changes will be obvious rather than buried.
